| Lot description: ISLAMIC. Circa AH 2nd-4th century / AD 8th-10th century. Seal (Lead, 25 mm, 7.99 g). Illegible Kufic inscription in four lines on the obverse in the widely spaced angular script typical of the Umayyad and early ʿAbbasid period. The inscription seems to begin with 'amara' ('ordered') and contain the name and title of an official. Good fine.
