| Lot description: Hadrian, 117-138. Dupondius (Orichalcum, 27 mm, 13.00 g, 6 h), Rome, 118. IMP CAESAR TRAIANVS HADRIANVS AVG Radiate head of Hadrian to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. PONT MAX TR POT COS II / FORT RED / S - C Fortuna, veiled, seated left on throne, holding rudder in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left. BMC 1142. Cohen 757 var. (draped). RIC 153. A lovely coin with a wonderful turquoise patina. Some corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
