Vespasian, 69-79. Denarius (Silver, 16 mm, 3.54 g, 6 h), Rome, 69-70. [IMP CA]ESAR VESPASIANVS AVG Laureate head of Vespasian to right. Rev. IVDAEA Judaea seated to right in attitude of mourning, resting her head on her left hand; behind, trophy. BMC 35. Cohen 226. RIC 2. A deeply toned example with an unusual portrait and an exceptionally complete reverse. Slightly rough, otherwise, about extremely fine.
