Appius Claudius Pulcher, T. Manlius Mancius and Q. Urbinius, 111-110 BC. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 4.09 g, 9 h), Rome. Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet, pendant earring and pearl necklace; behind, uncertain symbol. Rev. AP•CL•T•MAL•Q•VR Victory driving triga to right, holding reins in both hands. Babelon (Claudia) 2 and (Manlia) 1. Crawford 299/1a. RBW 1141. Sydenham 570. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, extremely fine.
