C. Malleolus C.f, 118 BC. Denarius (Silver, 18 mm, 3.65 g, 9 h), Narbo. C•MALLE•C•F• Head of Roma to right, wearing winged helmet and pearl necklace; to right, X (mark of value). Rev. [L•L]IC•C•N•DOM Gallic warrior (Bituitus?), hurling spear and holding shield and carnyx, driving fast biga to right. Babelon (Poblicia) 1, (Licinia) 13 and (Domitia), 17. Crawford 282/3. RBW 1108. Sydenham 524. Light scratches and minor areas of weakness, otherwise, good very fine.
