AΥT K M AΥΡHΛIOC ANTΩNEINOC CEB Laureate, draped and cuirassed half-length bust of Elagabalus to left. Rev. ΜΗΤΡΟΠΟΛΕΩC ΦIΛIΠΠOΠOΛEΩC / NEΩKOΡOΥ Apollo standing facing, holding bunch of grapes in his right hand and bow in his left, within octastyle temple; in pediment, shield and spear. RPC VI online 491. Varbanov, Philippopolis, XVII.11.1.1 corr. (reverse type). Very rare. A most impressive medallion with a very interesting reverse.
