| Lot description: LESBOS. Mytilene. Circa 377-326 BC. Hekte (Electrum, 11 mm, 2.55 g, 1 h). Head of Athena facing slightly to right, wearing triple-crested Attic helmet. Rev. Head of Hermes to right, wearing kausia behind his draped neck, within linear square. Bodenstedt 86. SNG von Aulock 1709. A beautifully toned piece. Struck from a slightly worn obverse die, otherwise, very fine.
