| Lot description: KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great', 336-323 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 33 mm, 17.02 g, 12 h), Aspendos, CY 3 = 210/9. Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress. Rev. ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ Zeus seated left on low throne, holding long scepter in his left hand and eagle with closed wings in right; to left, ΑΣ; below throne, Γ (date). Price 2880.
