Lot description: Greek ATTICA. Athens. Circa 454-404 BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 25 mm, 17.23 g, 6 h). Head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with three olive leaves above visor and palmette on bowl, round earring and pearl necklace. Rev. ΑΘΕ Owl standing right, head facing; in upper left field, olive spray and crescent; all within incuse square. Dewing 1591-8. HGC 4, 1597. Kroll 8. SNG Copenhagen 31.
