The shape on the obverse heavily resembles a Corinthian helmet, which is only rarely encountered on the Philistian coinage (cf. Gitler & Tal II.3D for drachms showing a head of Athena to left with a crested Corinthian helmet on the obverse and with a winged deity on the reverse).
