CAMPANIA. Neapolis. Circa 300 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 19 mm, 7.16 g, 2 h), Ouillios, magistrate. Head of nymph to right, wearing triple-pendant earring and pearl necklace; around, four dolphins. Rev. [NEO]ΠΟΛΙΤΩ[Ν] Man-headed bull walking right, head facing; above, Nike flying to right, crowning him with wreath; below, YOIΛ/OYIΛ in two lines. Sambon 459. HN Italy 576. Nicely toned. Light marks and scratches, otherwise, nearly very fine.
