LOWER DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. Circa 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 22 mm, 12.45 g, 12 h), 'Zweigarm' type, imitating Philip II of Macedon. Celticized head of Zeus to right. Rev. Celticized horseman to left, wearing crested helmet and holding branch in his left hand. Dembski 1209. Flesche 717 (this coin). Lanz 589. OTA 296. Beautifully toned and sharply struck, a wonderful piece. Extremely fine.

The reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
