Constantine II Æ 14mm. Rome, AD 337-340. VIC CONSTANTINVS AVG, laurel and rosette-diademed and cuirassed bust to right / VIRTVS AVGVSTI, emperor, bare-headed and in military dress, standing facing, head to right, holding spear and resting hand on shield; R[(leaf?)P] in exergue. RIC VIII 4. 1.72g, 14mm, 6h.

Extremely Fine. Though he appears elsewhere with a long sideburn, the cataloguer of this lot has been unable to identify another example with this distinguished moustache which is perhaps unique.
