Lot description: Kushan Empire, Huvishka Æ Tetradrachm. Main mint in Kapisha (probably Begram), circa AD 151-190. Early phase. Nimbate king, riding elephant to right / Athsho standing facing, head to left, holding open wreath and fire tongs; tamgha before, AΘP[O] behind. MK 832; ANS Kushan 826-833; Donum-Burns 310-311. 15.54g, 27mm, 12h. Near Very Fine. Extremely Rare; only two other examples on CoinArchives (Roma E-Sale 100, lot 689 (sold for £240) and CNG E-534, lot 271 (sold for 140 USD)).
