Tiberius. AD 14-37. Æ Dupondius (29.5mm, 13.65 g, 12h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 16-22. Laureate head left / MODERATIONI above, S C across field, small, bareheaded bust of Tiberius facing, in center of round medallion; the bust is in a small plain circle, surrounded by petals, outside of which is a thick raised circle of petals, like those of a sunflower; beyond that, on the outside of the shield, a laurel wreath. RIC I 39; Sutherland, Two pl. XIII, 6. Brown surfaces, minor pitting, some legend weakness. VF.
