| Lot description: SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Laodicea ad Mare. Elagabalus. AD 218-222. Æ (29mm, 15.53 g, 12h). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right, seen from behind / Tyche, turreted, seated left on rock, holding rudder and cornucopia; to left, Marsyas standing right, wineskin over his shoulder and presenting wreath to Tyche, star between them; below, river-god swimming left, looking right. Meyer, Laodikeia H; RPC VI Online 8170; BMC 104. Brown patina with red earthen highlights, light porosity. VF.
