SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos I Nikator. Second satrapy and kingship, 312-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 16.07 g, 4h). Seleukeia on the Tigris II mint. Struck circa 296/5-281 BC. Laureate head of Zeus right / Athena, brandishing spear, shield on left arm, in quadriga of elephants right; Θ above elephants, [second control not visible]. Cf. SC 130.33–8; HGC 9, 18a. Porous, a few edge scuffs. Near VF.
