Lot description: KINGS of MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes. 306-283 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 17.10 g, 8h). Amphipolis mint. Struck circa 289-288 BC. Diademed and horned head right / Poseidon Pelagaios standing left, foot on rock, holding trident in left hand; monograms to outer left and right. Newell 121, obv. die CXXII; HGC 3, 1014b; SNG Copenhagen 1177; Pozzi 962–3. Lightly toned, light scuff on obverse, slight doubling on reverse. Good VF.
