Rx: COS XIIII - LVD SAEC FEC on l. and r., S C in exergue, Emperor accompanied by a lyre player and a flute player sacrificing at altar in front of six-columned temple; legs of flute player obscured by altar. There seem to be two main variants of this type, not distinguished in RIC, one with the flute player to the left of the altar, his full body visible, and the other with the flute player behind the altar, only his upper body visible, as on our coin.. aVF
