HGC-1, 1063; HN Italy-1589. Obverse: Wreathed head of Demeter left; Reverse: Barley ear with leaf to left; above leaf, griffin to right; ΛY below leaf. A slightly worn obverse die paired with a crisp reverse die that yielded a shimmering, lustrous strike. An attractive example of the type.
