Lot description: Hadrian. Sestertius; Hadrian; 117-138 AD, Rome, 128-9 AD, Sestertius, 24.23g. RIC-989 (R), pl. 96. Obv: HADRIANVS - AVGVSTVS P P Bust laureate, draped, cuirassed r. Rx: HIL - ARI - [T]AS P R on l. and r., COS III in exergue, S - C across lower field, Hilaritas standing l. holding long palm and cornucopia, a naked boy on l. grasps the palm stem, a draped girl on r. reaches towards Hilaritas' drapery.
