Rx: TRANQVIL - LITAS AVG on l. and r., COS III in exergue, Tranquillitas standing l. leaning on column and holding scepter; on ground behind her, a globe. Ex Curtis L. Clay Collection; ex Gitbud and Naumann, 2 Nov. 2014, 451. Rare variant with globe on ground behind Tranquillitas, known to Strack in only two specimens, in Vienna and Rome. Two further examples are being offered here from the Clay collection, one with and the other without a fold of cloak on the left shoulder of the emperor's portrait.. EF
