Rx: DIVVS PATER - TRAIAN Cult statue of Trajan's natural father seated l. on curule chair, holding patera and scepter. Ex Curtis L. Clay Collection. The obverse legend in the dative case is a scarce mint error; it was meant to be in the nominative case (TRAIANVS), matching the nominative reverse legend, DIVVS PATER TRAIAN.
