Attica, Athens AR New Style Drachm. Circa 128/7 BC. Aropos and Mnasagos, magistrates. Head of Athena Parthenos to right, wearing necklace, pendant earring, and triple-crested Attic helmet decorated with the protomes of four horses above the visor, Pegasos in flight rightward above the raised earpiece, and a curvilinear ornament on the bowl / Owl standing to right, head facing, on amphora; A-ӨE above APOΠOΣ MNAΣAΓO (magistrates' names) across fields, winged Agon standing facing in right field; all within wreath. Thompson 1015; HGC 4, 1635. 3.98g, 17mm, 12h.
