Featuring the first numismatic portrait of Christ, this example retains solid brilliance and despite the noted brushing and edge bend.

S-1156. Obverse: Helmeted and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder and shield decorated with horseman motif; Reverse: Cross potent set upon three steps; crowned and draped figures of Heraclius and Tiberius standing facing, each holding globus cruciger. Fully struck with great detail overall. The noted clipping is light, and the graffiti is restricted to the obverse fields.

Obverse: Crowned facing bust of Nicephorus, wearing chlamys and holding cross potent and akakia; pellet at beginning of legend; Reverse: Crowned facing bust of Stauracius, wearing chlamys and holding globus cruciger and akakia; X at end of legend. Incredibly vibrant and tantalizing, this Mint State example radiates with boundless brilliance and a sharp strike on a somewhat short flan.
