Obverse: Facing bust of Christ Pantocrator; cross behind; Reverse: Crowned and draped facing busts of Justinian and Tiberius, holding between them a cross potent set on two steps. An early representative of Christ that differs quite dramatically from that which occurred during the first reign of Justinian II, this example glistens with great brilliance.
