S-1248. Obverse: Facing bust of Christ Pantocrator; cross behind; Reverse: Justinian standing facing, wearing crown and loros, and holding akakia and cross potent set upon two steps. Featuring the first numismatic portrait of Christ, this example retains solid brilliance and despite the noted brushing and edge bend.
