RIC-363; Hendin-6494; Cal-587. "Judaea Capta" commemorative. Obverse: Laureate head right; Reverse: Palm tree; to left, Vespasian standing right, holding spear and parazonium, with foot on helmet; to right, Judaea seated right in attitude of mourning, head resting on hand. A VERY RARE and historically important type, this specimen presents a well centered, with a particular boldness to the portrait of the founder of the Flavian dynasty.
