HADRIAN, AD 117-138. Dupondius or As, about 130-138. AE 11.61 g. HADRIANVS - AVG COS III PP Laureate, draped bust r. Rev. DACIA / S - C Dacia, wearing long dress and cloak, seated l. on pile of rocks, holding standard in her r. hand, Falx (curved sword) in her l. hand. BMC 511, 1745; C. 529; RIC II/3, 185, 1658.

Scarce. Excellent dark green patina. Slight flan defect on obv. Extremely fine



Provenance: From an old Swiss Collection started in the 19th century.
