| Lot description: SELEUCIS and PIERIA, Balanea (as Claudia-Leucas). Second half of 1st century AD. Æ (17mm, 4.15 g, 1h). TωN KAI KΛAYΔIAIωN, male god standing facing, wearing tiara and holding long scepter, foot on prow / ΛYKAΔIωN, forepart of river-god Chrysoroas swimming right. RPC I 4465A; de Saulcy 3. Brown patina, light roughness. VF. Extremely rare, only three known to RPC. From the Aleph Collection, purchased from Forum Ancient Coins, inventory RY86403.
