BAKTRIA, Indo-Greek Kingdom. Hippostratos Soter. Circa 65-55 BC. Æ (24x18mm, 5.63 g, 12h). Square module. Zeus-Mithras, nimbate and laureate, seated slightly left, holding filleted diadem (or pouring libation from phiale?) and scepter / Horse left; monogram to lower left. Bopearachchi 11A; SNG ANS 1641-2; HGC 12, 459. Earthen green and brown patina. VF. Struck on compact flan. Rare.
