The 'Haddenham' Collection of English Coins | Iceni, Ecen (c.10-43 AD), (2) AR Coins including: AR Unit, double crescent emblem on vertical wreath, rev. horse right, corn ear mane, one pellet below tail, pelletal sun above, ECEN monogram below, 1.13g (ABC 1657; BMC 4033-4215; M 424; VA 730-1; Spink 443A), jagged edges, lightly toned, fine; an AR Half Unit, back-to-back open crescents seperated by two pellets, within lozenge of corded lines, rev. horse right, solid head, harness and reigns above, pellet triad either side of V-shaped motif above, ECE below, 0.32g (ABC 1687; BMC 4216; M 431; VA 742-1; Spink 443B), rough surfaces, darkly toned, very fine (2).
