D N ANTHE MIVS PP AVG, pearl-diademed, helmeted, and cuirassed bust facing slightly right, holding spear over shoulder in right hand and shield decorated with horseman motif on left shoulder / SALVS R EI P VBLICAE, crowned facing figures of two emperors, Leo I and Anthemius, both wearing military dress, the one to left holding spear in right hand, the one to right holding spear in left hand, both holding globus cruciger between them; * between; CORMOB. RIC X 2823; Lacam 73 (this coin illustrated; also plated on pl. CXIX); Depeyrot 61/1; Adda 759 (this coin illustrated); Biaggi 2376. Toned with some luster, a few faint scratches, trace deposits. Superb EF.
