| Lot description: GREEK. Uncertain region. Elliptical sling bullet, 4th-1st centuries BC. (Lead, 44 x 25 mm, 54.95 g), Ptolemaic. Winged thunderbolt. Rev. Blank, but rough surface, maybe from a rubbed off inscription or symbol. Cf. Roma E92, 2021, 1296. The thunderbolt may refer to the Ptolemaic Kings of Egypt and their military activities in Greece and on Cyprus. Some deposits and corrosion, otherwise, very fine. Starting price: 75 CHF |  |
