| Lot description: LOWER DANUBE REGION. Imitation of Thasos. Late 2nd-1st century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 31.5 mm, 16.69 g, 1 h), imitating Thasos. Stylized head of a youthful Dionysos to right, wearing elaborate ivy wreath with leaves and berries. Rev. Legend composed of two rows of pellets Youthful Herakles, nude, standing facing, head left, holding club in right hand and cloak over left arm. Lanz 983-95. OTA ppl. 48-9, Class V.
