| Lot description: LOWER DANUBE REGION. Imitation of Thasos. Late 2nd-1st century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 34 mm, 16.48 g, 12 h). Stylized head of a youthful Dionysos to right, wearing elaborate ivy wreath with leaves and berries. Rev. TΩΗΛΟ ΖΗΤΛΗΟ ΝΛΤΗ Youthful Herakles, nude, standing facing, head left, holding club in right hand and cloak over left arm; in field to left, Z. Lanz 971-4. OTA ppl. 46-7, Class III.
