Constantine II, as Caesar, 316-337. Follis (Bronze, 19 mm, 2.75 g, 6 h), a contemporary imitation of an issue from Treveri, irregular mint, after 324. CONSTANTINVS IVN N C Laureate head of Constantine II to right. Rev. PROVIDEN-TIAE AVGG / PTR Campgate with no doors and three turrets; above, star. Cf. RIC 449 and 453 (for prototype). Minor traces of corrosion, otherwise, about extremely fine.

This contemporary 'barbarous' imitation is a mule, combining an obverse of Constantine II with a reverse of Constantine I.
