RESTITVTOR REI PVBLICAE / ✱ANTΔ✱ Valentinian I standing front, head to right, holding labarum in his right hand and Victory on globe in his left; in field to left, cross. Depeyrot 20/1. RIC 2d.xxxviii.4. A very attractive example with a bold portrait. Minor marks and with a scrape on the reverse, otherwise, extremely fine.
