L. Censorinus, 82 BC. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.75 g, 1 h), Rome. L·CENSORIN Diademed, draped, and veiled bust of Venus to right, wearing earring and pearl necklace. Rev. Venus driving biga to right, holding reains in both hands and goad in her right; above, XXXXII; below horses, C·LIMETA; in exergue, P·CREPVSI. Babelon (Marcia) 27, (Crepusia) 3, (Mamilia) 9. Crawford 360/1b. RBW 1366. Sydenham 736a. Darkly toned. Two small old cuts on the obverse, otherwise, good very fine.

Sydenham 929. Beautifully toned. Struck slightly off center and with some light scratches, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
