PHOENICIA. Tyre. Elagabalus, 218-222. Octassarion (Bronze, 29 mm, 16.67 g, 12 h). IMP CAES M AV ANTONINVS AV Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust of Elagabalus to right, seen from behind; to left, uncertain oval countermark (Melqart-Herakles bust to right?). Rev. SEPTIM TVRO (sic) / COLO Tyche-Astarte standing front, placing her right hand on trophy and holding scepter in her left, being crowned by Nike standing left on column to right; at her feet to left, small Marsyas carrying wineskin on shoulder and raising hand towards her; to right, murex shell.
