| Lot description: HUNNIC TRIBES, Western Turks. Uncertain. Circa 650-700. Half Drachm (Bronze, 19 mm, 1.62 g). Draped bust of the King (Ranasrikari?) slightly to right, wearing crown with two wings and a lion's head on top and two ribbbons hanging from the back of the crown, earrings, two pearl necklaces; in the upper field to right, protome of Senmurv. Rev. Uncertain object. Göbl -. Vondrovec, Type 255B. Extremely rare. Minor deposits and with some light scratches, otherwise, about very fine. From the collection of Dr. D.
