BAΣIΛΕΩΣ ΣTHPOΣΣΥ HEPMAIOY ('of King Hermaeus the Savior' in Greek) Diademed Julio-Claudian-style bust to right. Rev. 'Maharajasa rayarayasa mahatasa heramayasa' ('of Great King, King of Kings, Hermaeus the Great' in Kharoshthi) Nike standing front, head to left, holding diadem in her right hand and palm branch in her left; to right, x within square. ANS Kushan 133ff. HGC 12, 312. Rare. Some deposits and with minor scratches, otherwise, very fine.
