KYRENAICA. Kyrene. Circa 375-305 BC. Drachm (Silver, 14 mm, 3.21 g, 12 h), Asiatic standard. Head of Karneios to left, with a ram's horn over his ear; behind, magistate's name (unreadable). Rev. Silphium plant with fruits. BMC 166-8. SNG Copenhagen 1206-7. Some deposits and with minor areas of horn silver, otherwise, about very fine.
