KINGS OF THRACE. Lysimachos, 305-281 BC. Drachm (Silver, 19 mm, 4.00 g, 12 h), Ephesos, circa 294-287. Diademed head of Alexander the Great to right with horn of Ammon over his ear. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ - ΛΥΣΙΜ[ΑΧΟΥ] Athena seated left, holding Nike, crowning the king's name, in her right hand and leaning with her left arm on shield decorated with lion's head; behind, transverse spear; in inner left field, kithara; on throne, A. Müller 355. Thompson 174. Light doubling on the reverse and with a minor flan crack, otherwise, about very fine.
