BRUTTIUM. Lokroi Epizephyrioi. Circa 400-350 BC. Didrachm or Nomos (Silver, 21 mm, 7.64 g, 12 h). Laureate head of Zeus to right; behind, thunderbolt. Rev. ΛOKP[ΩN] Eagle standing left, wings spread, clutching dead hare held in its talons. HGC 1, 1565. HN Italy 2327. SNG ANS 519. Nicely toned and of fine style. Overstruck on a Corinthian type stater, otherwise, good very fine.
