LOWER DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. Circa 3rd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 23 mm, 13.13 g, 12 h), imitating Philip II of Macedon. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. ΦΙΛIΠ-V Young jockey, holding palm frond in his right hand and reins in his left, riding horse to right; in field to right, Λ and pellets; below horse, branch and ΛV. Dembski -. Flesche -. Lanz -.
