| Lot description: LOWER DANUBE. Uncertain tribe. Circa 2nd century BC. Tetradrachm (Silver, 21 mm, 7.26 g, 9 h), 'Sattelkopfpferd' type, imitating Philip II of Macedon. Celticized male head to right. Rev. Celticized horse with heavily stylized rider prancing left. Dembski 1227 var. Lanz 650. OTA 300/14 var. Preda pl. XLIII, 14-5. Nicely toned.
