Crawford 231/1; Sydenham 432; Renia 1; RBW 961. Toned, minor marks with trace deposits, struck on a compact flan. VF. From the Elm Street Collection. Juno, the queen of the Roman Gods and wife of Jupiter, is seen here as Juno Caprotina, the Goddess of Fertility. Her festival, Nonae Caprotinae, was celebrated on the seventh day of July and was exclusively attended by women, even slaves were allowed to attend.
