Diademed head of Alexander III right, wearing elephant skin / Eagle with spread wings, standing left on thunderbolt; monogram-in-circle to left. CPE B103; Svoronos –; SNG Copenhagen –. Rough brown surfaces, flan flaw on obverse. VF. Very rare, an issue first reported in Kirk Davis FPL 57 (2010), no examples in Ptolemaic Coins Online (PCO), nor CoinArchives. From the DMS Collection.
